We go on holidays to other countries to experience, see and do new things don’t we? So of course when I am away, I pick up the local wedding magazines. Why not? Even if they aren’t in a language I know it’s still easy enough to figure out. So on holiday in the Netherlands a while back I picked up a wedding magazine, as I do, and what struck me most is their wedding rings. Not the engagement rings, the actual wedding bands. They are lovely. Really different than I have seen before and really quite romantic. So of course I thought I’d share. How about these heartbeat rings. Yes, with your own and your partner’s actual real heartbeats.

The rings above are all from Mark Bostrouwringen and believe me there are more interesting rings on the website [which you can get Google to translate for you} like puzzle rings, rings with hidden messages or poems on them. Really interesting. These below now are beautiful as well. The metals are stunning.
Many of the rings above are called Spinning rings. These unusual rings have an outer band which manually spins freely around the inner ring! This motion in the ring gives the wearer a special “calming” effect which sometime helps in the aid of anxiety and worries. – and can look really pretty.
